Wearing gorgeous heels is the easiest way to looking fabulous and stylish. Wearing heels also has its benefits. First, they make your legs look longer and sexier. Second, heels actually improves posture. Most importantly, wearing heels boosts confidence and self-esteem. Unfortunately, heels can also be painful. This only happens when you choose the wrong shoes. So, what are the things we should take into consideration when buying heels? Here are some useful tips:

1. Heel Height. The maximum heel height for comfortable heels is about 3 inches or 7 centimeters. With this height, your legs look longer and you can still walk in them with ease. Wearing heels also make your legs look shapelier and toned. I myself wear 3-inch heels to work. I wear them not only because they make me look good but most of all, they give me more confidence.

2 Choose thick, sturdy heels. If you want to survive an 8-hour workday wearing heels, go for thick, sturdy heels. Don't wear 5-inch stilettos as they are only going to give you discomfort the whole day. Wedges are also a great choice as they also give you plenty of support and balance.

3. Cushioning. Finding the style you like is a piece of cake. Finding shoes with the right cushioning however, can be a mission. Remember to choose shoes that have enough cushioning right under the ball of your foot so as to make you feet more comfy.

4. Test-drive the shoe on hard ground. Have you ever wondered why most shoe stores have carpeted floors? It's because the carpet makes it easy for your feet to walk on it. So the next time you try on shoes, walk them on concrete floors to truly assess how comfortable they are.

5. Choose round-toed shoes. Pointy shoes can warp your toes and hurt your feet so if you think you cant survive a whole day in them, don't wear them. Save them for your next brunch with your girl friends. Opt for round-toed shoes as they allow enough room for your toes to wiggle and sprain naturally.
