Freshman "Dont's"

Freshman are new to college. You don't know your way around on the first day of school. You don't know where the school public bus is heading to. You get lost after class. These are just some common sights on the first few days of college. Below is a list of "don'ts" for college freshman.

1) Don't take anymore than 18 credits of Class
Taking more credits does not prove that you are smarter. It proves that you are a nerd or that you will be nerd-ing your way through college life. College isn't all about studying in class but it is very important though. You need to get involved in clubs and organizations that might, perhaps, help you in your near future.

2) Don't Break the Washing Machine
I know this sounds a bit too extreme but it's true in a metaphorical sense. Most of us don't wash our own clothes in high school so we will be fairly about the whole process in college. Ask you mom to teach you how to properly wash clothes before you leave for college.

3) Don't Forget to Use Time Wisely
While college is full of fun, it is also important that we remember to use our time wisely. There are lots of things that will distract us such as clubbing or partying. You need to learn to say no to some offers to parties. Not using your time wisely will show on your first semester grade so don't say I didn't warn you about it.

4) Don't Ever Judge Others Immediately
Your friends might tell you one thing about this guy but in reality, the guy is totally different. You need to find a balance between what your friends and peers tell you and what you see and know yourself. Don't judge a guy just because your girlfriends say she is bad. You have to see it for yourself.
