The Summer Before College

It is your last summer before college official starts. Below is a list of recommendations you should follow before you go to college.

1) Do Your Orientation
It is never wise to miss your orientation so remember to attend it. Orientation is where you will meet your "college friends" so be open-minded and casual at the orientation. Most schools do first-come first-serve class selection, so it is wise to choose the earlier orientation.

2) Contact Your Roommates
It is never too late to contact your roommates. You will most likely spend the first whole year with the same roommates so be kind with them and they'll be kind with you. Contact your roommates through Facebook is alright.

3) Get In Shape
In the real world, everything is about first impression. So get in shape and lots of people will be coming to you. Most schools have a certain period of the year that is warmer and thus, it's the best time to show off what you got.

4) No Cars
Despite how wealthy your family is, don't ever bring your car the first year (you can do that the second year and so forth). First year is when all the people have the fun time together. They drink together. They bike together. They go to class together. So get a bike and get ready to go with the flow of your friends.
